Property experts are of course happy with the recent cut in interest rates, and many suggest that the latest interest rate has allowed investment properties to become a lot more accessible for many people looking to invest, especially in the rental market.
Only time will tell if the interest rates have had a positive affect.

It is definitely something I hate to see, when somebody has tried to better their life by investing their hard earned cash, only to fail and end up auctioning their property off for a lot less than they paid for it in the first place.
A lot of the time though, this is down to the landlord not doing the proper due diligence on the property, or even purchasing a property that is not cash flow positive.

Buy-to-Let residential landlords looking for investments will be studying the opportunities on offer at Blundells’ first auction of 2009 in Sheffield.
Sixteen lots will be going under the hammer at Sheffield Park Hotel, Chesterfield Road South, on Tuesday, 17 February. Price guides range between £20,000 and £165,000.
